Just watched this again after 15-20 years since my last watch. I thought it was good then as a 20 year old but this time around it was great, absolutely fantastic, one of film history's true masterpieces.

Rightfully a classic, Jack Nicholson turns in a great performance as do the riveting Brad Dourif and Louise Fletcher.

It's a sad life they live. Brilliant film, brilliant ending.

"Jesus, I mean, you guys do nothing but complain about how you can't stand it in this place here and you don't have the guts just to walk out? What do you think you are, for Chrissake, crazy or somethin'? Well you're not! You're not! You're no crazier than the average asshole out walkin' around on the streets and that's it."

The performances made this movie great! I wouldn't say this is one of the best films ever made, but it has a lot of great and lovely characters that made this film a real enjoyment to watch!

Beautiful film, usually I wouldn't watch films like this but I've learned to never judge a book by its cover, and give movies a go. Completely engrossed once it picked up a small pace, amazing characters and portrayal of the disorders.

Huge credit to Jack Nicholson, he really convinces me when playing someone of a different mental state and I don't know why. Maybe it's his eyebrows.

Lovely film and heart-warming in some scenes. I really took a liking to most of the characters although I think that some of them should have had bigger roles.

Overall, 8/10.
