Got showed to us in Philosophy class as an example of Nietzschean ideas put into practice. I really enjoyed it, although I did find the distinct lack of subtlety about how the film changed every ten minutes kinda funny. The guy that gets drunk goes a bit crazy too, which is enjoyable.
I thought this movie was (unintentionally?) funny. I mean simply the concept of having a dinner party in the same room as someone you just murdered is outrageous. Funny concept for a film. :)
Plus it's an Alfred Hitchcock movie, what do you expect?
Great camera work by Hitchcock (the whole movie appears to be one long shot giving it a theatrical feel). Witty dialogues, superb acting by John Dall & James Stewart but the plot & climax are not its strongest suit.
