Passolini - art or fake, great director or a pounce, decent filmmaker or chaotic...it does not matter. He was violent, disturbing, sick and insane just like this piece. Probably one of the biggest "psycho" director ever born on this fucking globe. I know I don't understand why is this such an outstanding movie/artwork - but I don't care at all. Passolini was a stupid natural born sicko who deserved all he's got.

I found the movie rather hilarious then disturbing. Every hardcore porn film is more graphic. They don't really show much except some nude people and fake feces.

Sure the stories they tell are revolting but you have to be a real wuss if you can't laugh them off.

Would have been shocking in the 70s, but now has been surpassed by all sorts of films and gross-out videos. Its simplistic message of fascism being bad because it leads people to torture those they perceive as "lesser" is insultingly obvious. Of mainly historical interest. Some of the frame compositions were well done.
