i thought this an interesting character study, but it can feel like it rambles: a better film of a similar vein is Gone Girl.
I feel like it might have been better as a Medea adaptation, but I have not read the source novel either. 8 years 10 months ago -

Dull, lifeless, and derivative; a real chore to watch. The only redeeming qualities are the cinematography and the impactful way the scenes of violence are handled, but even this isn't enough to make the film anywhere near worthwhile. 9 years 5 months ago
