Tangled, the Rapunzel story, took me a good 15-20 minutes to get into, I have to admit. The opening narration explained things to me like I was a child, and then I kept thinking her hair must've been so incredibly dirty trailing behind her like that. But soon after, I dunno, the second song, I found myself really digging it. Rapunzel is really a very quirky Disney princess, Zachary Levi's Flynn exudes infectious swashbuckling fun, and that horse, that horse is just hilarious. The cartoony slapstick is something you expect from the Looney Tunes, very entertaining, and the film gets quite dark at times. I don't think I've seen that much blood in a Disney cartoon before (though I admit, I haven't seen THAT many). Overall, the violence, action (at times, it's Rapunzel as Spider-Man, I'm not gonna hide that fact), humor and musical numbers are very well balanced, and the film creates a number of memorable characters. It goes way off the map in terms of the original fairy tale, but that's entirely to its credit. What fun!

I agree with the story being rushed, they could've made it a bit longer. Nonetheless, it was lovely to look at and the plot was entertaining enough. Some of you are too harsh with reviews - it's a children's film for crying out loud. I thought it was nicely done.

Better than I expected. Gorgeous and sometimes funny, with a very good female protagonist. The animals were very charming, it was a good decision to not voice them, that way they had to be very expressive. The story is very predictable and the villain is not very original but it's still worth the watch. Oh, and the songs were fine, didn't bother me at all, when it usually does. 6/10.

One of the funniest animated movies I've ever seen! Lovely characters, cute story and so many funny scenes and lines! Really cool. I wasn't even gonna watch it because I thought it was too childish (and it would be sweet for children too, I imagine) - but my sister persuaded me and I found it hilarious. Please do watch it!

I skipped it back then because I hated the poster, but it was quite a good movie, great animation, great story. Nice cross breed between Disney and Pixar touches

Predictable, of course, but so cute!

'Rapunzel' is the jumping off point for a modern irreverent & fun CGI animation; but it remains a Disney film at heart. 7/10.

It sounded bad when I saw the trailer. It's a great, fun movie actually!

Pure magic. And since when did Disney NOT have songs in their films?
