Poor film, but at least it gave jobs for midgets. A race all too sadly discriminated against in Hollywood (one of the many ways the opulent west is falling further behind its Bollywood rival).

Although it does show just how well made The Office (uk) was... How did they make Martin Freeman look normal height? Stunning camerawork from Ricky Gervais!

It will annoy the Tolkienites but it is a far more enjoyable LOTR film in terms of pacing and length than its spirital predecessors. However the HFR does expose poor CGI.

i wish this movie never filmed, because they have to show some respect to all old lotr atmoshere. now its just a ''gandalf and 7 dwarf'' fairytale. they could try to animated all movie, but it had to be just ''the animation for kids'', not included any serious lotr stuff, and we could say it's a good animation for the kids.
