Besides Get Out, this has to be one of the most boring, predictable, mindless, off putting, and slow paced “thriller” I’ve ever seen. Why label it a thriller when it’s only a small portion of the film?
There’s also no point to the ending of this film. Not that I personally cared but it lost whatever “supposed“ message it tried to convey, when not only does it
go against Carl’s no guns rule because of his brother’s death, but also him disturbingly having no problem pointing a gun at defenceless/near death Charlie, and shooting him on the ground after making a gritty remark to Annie. If that was supposed to make me feel sorry for either of them it didn’t, it just made me wonder what kind of monster you yourself would have to be to kill someone like that, it’s straight up murder.
I certainly didn’t feel anything for anyone in there, and the only good part was the beautiful house and when it ended.

Lame movie, but I got the weird feeling that Dennis Quaid would make a surprisingly good Joker although he's a bit old for the part.Emiam
6/10Very small minus that it is predictable.
