A real forgotten gem. Although it has its flaws, this movie honestly illustrates the pain and stigma of rehabilitation from a mental illness. My main problem with this movie, like so many other movies, it shows an unrealistic view of the patient-psychiatrist relationship. Although psychiatrists make themselves available to their patients, they are not available anytime of the day or night and they never consider themselves friends with their patients. Yet this movie did such a great job in the actual therapy portion that the unrealistic portions can be forgiven.
