I think this is a great comedy. Tom Hanks plays a guy who buys a house together with his girl - well, the house is a ramshackle hut and everything that can go wrong WILL go wrong.
I loved the funny scenes and the acting by Tom Hanks and Alexander Godunow. One of the funniest scenes is when the bath tub breaks through the floor and Tom Hanks just bursts out laughing like a madman. LMAO! But there are many amusing situations throughout the movie. Like it!
I'll second ChristineDaae's sentiments, and say this is pretty damn funny. Not a masterpiece by any means, but there are numerous parts that'll have you aching with laughter.
My favourite part was when Hanks is stuck in the floor wrapped in the carpet. The crying and laughing, with exasperated screams of 'my lungs are being compressed!' sent me over the edge.
