Both Deborah Kerr and Stewart Granger never looked better in any other movie. Kerr looked like the perfect princess I would always envision - slim, perfectly styled hair with jewels entwined in it, rosy cheeks and luscious lips and simply glowing. Her gowns flattered her fine figure and their colors flattered her skin. Granger was just as suitably handsome and adorned. I loved watching them both on screen together. Their excellent acting and accented voices gave this version of this age-old story the most romantic twist it needed.
