Great movie! The scene in Matthau's apartment is a work of art and the doctor's sketch is a study in comedic timing. Amazing that Burns and Matthau were replacement actors for this moving (Jack Benny passed away and Red Skelton backed out) because it seems that this was the perfect cinematic culmination of the lives of these two comic titans.ClassicLady
Burns and Matthau are wonderfully funny together. I saw this at the Radio City Music Hall when it first came out. I was sick as a dog but went to see it anyway. Even though I was sick, I laughed like crazy and came out feeling better than before. I just love those guys!
