You've got a classic book and a decent adaptation in the 90s and yet someone Zemeckis managed to balls up a movie that should have been easy to bring into the 21st century.
We really didn't need this remake - it's basicly the same movie as the 1990's version, but less scarier...
Anna Hathaway is great though, but she can't win over some bad CGI (when she's throwing large objects f.ex.).

I think I prefer the original film, but at least they kept the ending of the book in this one.
