Absolutely hated this!. Everyone involved should be embarrassed. I am not easily offended, but this had by far the worst language and most sex I have ever seen in a mainstream movie. Went on forever at almost 3 hours. Scene after drawn out scene of the same stuff over and over. Don't waste 3 hours of your life like I did.

The only thing Wolf of Wall Street is an indictment of is a lot of people's taste.

Best movie of 2014 so far and don't think there will be many others contending with it this year.
Oscar worthy performance from Leonardo once again.

Whatever trace elements of real emotion, plot, or intelligence this movie might have contained were largely overshadowed by Scorsese's main motive in the production -- to overwhelm us with debauchery and opulence. Not so much a story, more just an excessively long string of over-the-top shockingly humoristic moments in the exaggerated life of corrupted stock broker Jordan Belfont. Nothing artistic, clever, or meaningful about it.

I'll admit, I laughed plenty during this movie but I just can't give Scorses any respect here. The Wolf of Wall Street is what The Hangover would have been in the hands of Academy Award winners; that is to say, the same type of movie only with a slightly better production value and performances. That's probably the nicest thing I can say about it.

I loved every ounce of this superficial sensory overload of debauchery. Every single minute. And if you're as big as a fan of Scorsese as I am, then you will too. Magnificent to watch. And not once did I feel fatigued at the length.

I really liked it, and it didn't feel long at all. At times I was laughing out loud, and I wasn't the only one. Most likely you'll either love the crazy or watch it in disgust.

I see quite a lot of similarities to another Leonardo movie I really liked 'Catch me if you can'. A biopic about a man with an remarkable talent in tricking other people for personal gain.
