Essay films rarely get better than this one. A series of highly personal stories detailing young black homosexual men's experiences growing up, and in living during the AIDS epidemic. The stories are compelling, as is the poetry. There are some brilliant montages here as well.
I really need to check out more of Marlon Riggs' work.
You can do what you wanna do... Important movie, especially for some ignorant people all over the world. Though these rather couldn't understand the issues.
