God I fucking hate Prixar movies. They're the epitome of everything that's wrong with the movie industry. Design by committee emotional manipulation designed to rob the pockets of people like [xx] over here, who is apparently "crying buckets" because they use manipulative music and big eyed characters dawww wook at the wittle characters. Barf.
Art is supposed to be expression of a real feeling, and the viewer takes that in and shares that feeling. What Dixar movies do is decode human emotion into an algorithm and optimize for it. It's created by autistic silicon valley robots who have no real emotions of their own.
The only reason I'm watching this ugly turd is because every goddamn list on here has every Coxar movie on it. As if they were masterpieces or something. KIDS MOVIES. People like to shit on Dreamworks but at least Shrek had some heart. Toy Story 1 had some of that. But the further you go forward in time the worse SHITXAR get. This awful movie just makes me want to puke.

Interesting film of a little kid trying to sell his boyscout's products. Immersing the audience in an adventure full of joy, love for our beloved partners, and laughs!
It is a meaningful animated movie, for all type of public.
El primer acto te deja hecho polvo. El resto de la historia (o mejor dicho la historia en sí) también es buena, aunque cada vez más convencional a medida que avanzan los minutos. El inicio vale la mayor parte de la recomendación.
Up has a great opening, a touching mini-film that could essentially have stood on its own. While there are some funny and heartfelt moments after this prologue, the film never quite fulfills that promise. It just goes a little gonzo for me once the house/air balloon reaches foreign climes and turns into a Road Runner cartoon with pulp villains, talking dogs, and so forth. If the adventure had somehow been revealed to be in the old man's imagination (even ambiguously), it would all have worked better, but that's not the case. I don't have a problem with an arthritic old man restored to action hero agility by the spirit of adventure however - it IS a cartoon! The gags are funny, there are some surprisingly dark moments, and the theme of finding adventure in everyday life is well-rendered. But yeah, it's a bit "anything goes" in the second act.
This had a great start and I was awaiting a touching movie when suddenly there's talking dogs, a giant bird and the old man who needed an elevator to get down stairs is running jumping and climbing like an action hero. One of Pixars worst in my oppinion.

I heard so many good things about this movie, but I almost couldn't get through it. Nobody told me it was a cartoon. I don't watch baby movies.Earring72
One of Pixars best. Very moving, funny and exciting. My kids loved it and so did I again for the 3rd timeJevet D. Lopez

Finally saw it... a really lovely movie! Very touching backstory, lovely message, an ode to life... also really funny at times. Great!paranoica
why this movie was made and how come it did so well with audiences, is bit of a mystery..AnnaAyalla
Extraordinary story, I haven't seen better animation movie. It's outstanding, so if you searching for ''movie to remember'' - I recommend anyway!Toastinator
The movie begins great but after a while it starts to become quite boring.lemonysnicket
The movie starts off with a touching backstory that makes you smile and breaks your heart within the first 10 minutes of the movie. The movie itself has Pixar's sensational attention to detail in terms of animation and textures, while the story is lively without a boring moment.
A heart-touching tale overall, that I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Amazing film, has some sentimental moments but balances well with the whole concept. Definitely would watch it again.Showing items 1 – 15 of 54
