A truly terrible film. Bekmambetov's hyperactive, original style seemed a better fit for the fantastical world of his "Night Watch/Day Watch" movies which I thoroughly enjoyed - not so here. The insistence on making the film gritty and cool makes it seem more desperate, cynical and juvenile. The blame should be laid to the terrible script and sheer ludicrousness of the plot and action sequences, which are absurd even for comic book movie. For example the finale features one of the dumbest "magic bullets" ever seen, passing unchecked through a dozen heads without hindrance, and defying all logic of the world established up to that point. Worse than the many implausibilities and plot holes, which you could spend hours picking over, I couldn't have cared less about the deeply uninteresting Wesley. Most definitely - Not Wanted.
A pretty damn good action movie. Lots of over the top action with tons of blood and gore and interesting cinematography. Not much plot to get in the way of the fun. A perfect example of the brainless action-flick genre.
Wanted, the Mark Millar comic, was just okay. I still hadn't sworn off Millar's nasty brand of cynicism, and despite some élans of bad taste, the story and premise still held interest. But I was never in any hurry to watch the film adaptation that traded superhero tropes with high-octane Hong Kong action tricks and assassins. Now that I have, I thought it was a pretty good action flick, with lots of clever moments, and only the most cursory of similarities with the original work. Well, at least there's no shit monster in this version! The amended premise is an excuse not only for cool stunts and gun play, but to make those action scenes completely bonkers without breaking the world of the film, as it were. Subversive fun that doesn't quite become as over-obvious about it as the source material did.

The ending phrase just stayed ringing in my ears -"So what the f*ck have you done lately?"
A really well executed movie :)

I liked this movie. The ending got me pumped and made me want to go out and do something. I didn't of course, but it was a good ending nonetheless.Maxahlia

This movie is flippin' rad, man!IreneAdler
Gotta say I expected a mediocre movie and was still a bit disappointed.Loved James McAvoy and Thomas Kretschmann and their acting and some of their scenes.
The story as a whole, particularly the whole loom stuff was a bit strange and a lot of the action was a bit boring or over the top.
I won't dislike this movie because of some nice elements but I expected a bit more.
