If this had had a smaller budget, it could have been a great noir. If it had been directed by Douglas Sirk, it could have been a great satirical look at a decadent society. Instead, it ends up as bland soap opera.

Soapy fun. Pretty obviously loosely based on the Lana Turner situation.

Before there was "Dallas", before there was "Falcon Crest", There was "Where Love Has Gone". Glamor, sex, betrayal, murder, and lots of secrets. Bette Davis plays the brilliant power-wielding matriarch saying things shed never say even in Pre-Code days. Michael Connors always delights with his easy and believable deliveries. Susan Hayward is her typical loose woman doing her evil deeds. I really didn't think I'd like this move but the more I watched, the more I wanted to see it to the end.
