Short, fun western. Joel McCrea as Wyatt Earp (about 20 years too old), taking place two towns before his days in tombstone. Shot in Scope, which is nice, although it could use a remaster. But Lloyd Bridges plays the main baddie with Peter Graves as a brother Earp, which is always fun to see any of the “four veterans” from Airplane in an old movie. At first, it felt like a TV movie, but it turned out to be better than I expected, with an decent story. Specifically, regarding the same townsmen that wanted Wyatt hired as Marshall soon want him gone after he’s TOO good at his job.
