This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

She was already alienated and cast out from society from the beginning. No need to be cloned and replaced by the invaders after all. They had to find that out the hard way.

Maybe the aliens thought they had a chance to connect with her by her own free will over time, and it worked in the end. Gloomy ending, but it resonates in a dark way.

Leisurely Pedestrians, Open Topped Buses and Hansom Cabs with Trotting Horses

    This film is lost.

The wrong picture we see on IMDB and the short films with this title on youtube are often from the Lumière brothers film ''Piccadilly Circus'', shot also in London, but by Alexandre Promio in 1896. It is clearly a shot from the building and fountain from the Piccadilly Circus place in London.

''Leisurely Pedestrians, Open Topped Buses and Hansom Cabs with Trotting Horses'' (1889) really is a lost film, and was filmed by William Friese-Greene in Apsley Gate, Hyde Park, London. Only a few frames remain.

This is a lost film. The image is the wrong one. It comes from the short film ''Hyde Park Corner, London'' (1897). You can find it on the British Pathé official Youtube channel, and in this thoroughly described video : www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtRiMS34KxQ.
