Very disappointing from the perspective of a big fan of the comics. Del Toro played it up for laughs, which is fine, but it got a bit ridiculous at times. Also felt it was more of a showcase for Del Toro's considerable talents for creating odd creatures, which would also be fine, except that it was pretty far removed from typical Hellboy territory/style. Wish he had done another of his own films instead of messing with Hellboy.
John Conner and the best Skynet can do is send a crappy T-800 to kill him? Could they not just gas him and get it over with? Wouldn't even damage the machines! Some supercomputer.
