Sooo beautiful! But the script? And the end? Come on! An Italian / French co-production with hired famous US / British actors. Loosely based on an Italian (classic?) book with the same name.
I wish this on blu-ray disc!

When watching the entire movie that I thought I saw, I re-rated it to a higher rating. This is fun. For both children and adults. But in different ways, more than in Disney / Dreamworks and the other family films. Glad it was in Swedish, because both daughter Alva and son Melker wanted to resee it right away. :)

Exciting 'til the end and good length. Chooses not to plagiarize the first movie from 1989 of King's book with the same name, which is obviously good. Good acting.

This is really neat.
Haven't seen the original manga on which it is based.

Too long and somewhat slow, otherwise a really good handcraft.

Too bad this web site does not know that the original title is in French: Le Petit Prince - just like the original classic book!
A bit too hard for younger kids to understand. But quite cosy movie.

7/10 in their own genre, but 6 as a movie in general.
Stylish Romanian environments, stylish CGI, eerie mood, an iconic new horror character (with a fantastic casting on Bonnie playing the nun - she looks creepy in reality) & a very good role interpretation of Vera Farmiga's daughter Taissa (why she is here in 1952, so alike her mother, must be on purpose by the filmmakers - something with the connection to the other films).
I saw The Conjuring 2 before, which chronologically matched how the films came about, even though it takes place in 1977, mainly in England.

Wonderful humor, even though the film company directed the film mainly towards the teenage cinema audience. This with a teenager in an adult's body has been tried several times before. And it works, it's fun.
Would be great to see this DC comic superhero mingle with the rest of the Justice League. ;P

Good music! Cozy animation. Also fun for adults now and then. Entertaining straight through.

Classic with Kirk Douglas and Laraine Day. Keenan Wynn (who is the author's valet?) is the best / most fun.

Sooo bad. OMG. Avoid it! So low budget, lousy CGI and c-actors. And what a sudden end - was there lack of money? Bad planning?
How can Washington Post write: "A big leap right into the magical world of fantasy!" and how can it get the Grand Prize at the 2003 Awards of Excellent??
Beyond my imagination...
The only reason I watched 'til the end is that I watched it with my son and daughter since we lend it from the public library at Lidingö, Stockholm.

A strong six plus to this modern classic film top list thriller by Brian de Palma with Kirk Douglas and Amy Irving. About exciting parapsychological abilities and state experiments and corruption. Interesting camera pans back and forth several times during conversations instead of editing - works really well in fact, even though it feels off-putting at first - builds up some kind of tension.

A too thin plot. But what a nice and imaginatively wonderful CGI - that is the plus in the grade!! Disney finally made a great lenght family movie at 1:39 h (the first time in several years), but when the movie ended it suddenly felt short - it could easily have been 2 h to fill out the story around the four worlds. You can easily see this with the kids again - of course! But how the heck did the Swedish film industry think when you did not (!) dub into Swedish so younger children can see it - now my 5-year-old daughter has to wait until 5th grade in school when she can both read subtitles AND start understanding English, that is many years left there!!!??? Here, Disney lost movie money, I can say!

Good for its time. Robinson often plays similar roles - not always as convincing as many claim within film business. Surely exciting, but a bit slow rise towards climax.

"The car robber" in Swedish. Good classic for its time, but not as good as the more modern classic with Rutger Hauer.

So bad that it is good. Campbell makes a lot of fun of himself. If you know that, it is ok. Lightly fun and charming. And it certainly makes it easier to see his films before! Grace Thorsen, who he gets interested in, is wow-beautiful. Nice country music by the police and the mayor. "A legend in his own lifetime ... Campbell is the ultimate cult actor." / Empire, "A fun ride ... with Bruce charm on full blast" / Ain't it Cool News.

The first half of the movie approved, the end made me change my mind as I couldn't predict it - neat anyway! Slightly slow at first but good overall length. The tagline "Your fear will awaken them" is deceiving - I don't like that!
