Not as good as i hoped but still good. I didn't like that you knew what would happen after just 2 minutes but still when it got going it didn't stop and it was a lot of fun.
Even though the turtle scene was the most disgusting (but not as bad as I thought) I'd have to say watching the first animal killing was the worst. Watching someone or something in legitimate pain really sucks. For me that plus the fact that it's basically just a bunch of clips showing fake violence, animal cruelty and other crap makes it in total a pretty crappy movie... Thankfully the music made my thoughts wonder a bit away... Won't see again but thankfully it wasn't as "horrible"/"nasty" as I feared.
Some of the scenes are fantastic, but unfortunately some unintentionally funny reaction shots and poor acting by some (like the little girl) drags it down. Still a good movie though.

How on earth could a movie so emotionally show the aftermath of the earthquake showing dead people, persons looking for their loved ones and the whole city up in the flames, and then do a crazy turn and start worshiping god. Unbelievable and it totally ruined it.
Poor story, not so good actors and sometimes painfully unfunny, but still not that bad. In the end i had fun, and thats what it's all about. Yes shaky camera sucks but still they made it look cool, bring some cool new action, have a couple really funny scenes (the black guy cracked me up) and give us a peak of Megan Foxes unbelievable body. 6.5/10

Not many movies have made me laugh more than the scene where they are beating up the other radio guy and then leatherface returns his attention to "stretch" and runs back up to the metal door and shakes the chainsaw furiously over his head. :D
I'm also pretty disappointed that they tried to remake the great dinner scene from the first movie instead of making something new...
What a weird experience watching this movie... So many ridiculous and over the top scenes which really made me hate on it but for some reason it did make me a little emotional at the end (how that happened i have no idea...) and overall it was somewhat fun...
It doesn't even come close to the original but still it's not a bad remake.
It's fun, but nothing more. A couple awesome scenes pull it up though. (sicilian scene, alabama kick ass etc) but for me it doesn't deserve any more than 7/10

More bizarre than scary, but still awesome... And I agree that the word "intense" pretty much describes perfectly large parts of the second half.Only thing that drags it down is the poor/weird acting by some of the "teenagers" BUT what it does is add to the surrealism of the whole thing.
