I never wanted to finish it. Such a touching series and I'll make sure to never forget those who fought in the war. And that last line at the end 'I served in a company full of heroes'. Gets me every time. RIP Major Richard Winters and much respect for the legacy of not only the Easy Company, but all the soldiers who helped win the war.
Honestly, I don't care what anyone says. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous in this movie. You can say whatever about the plot and story-line, but you have to admit you were head-over-heels for Anna and Declan's relationship. How could you not fall in love with them falling in love? This is my go-to movie for when I need a good heart-warming romantic-comedy. Call me immature, but I loved this film.
I agree with StigAnder - the soundtrack and even some of the humour was a little too cliché for my taste. But of course that's from a teenager's perspective. I'm sure lots of kids around the world enjoyed it. I liked the film, some pretty strangely hilarious bits in it. But the film's initial plot really doesn't make much sense and doesn't flow very well. Character development is slow and the whole pace of the movie was slow and dragged on. Definitely not Dreamworld's best.
This was...just absolutely amazing. I don't see why people compare this to Schindler's List so often. I find that Schindler's List is different, because it's from a different perspective. I find that Schindler's List is more so from, well, Schindler's point of view. But in The Pianist we explore how the Jews were treated in more, because we are more attached with the (main) characters, who are Jewish.
What a film. I cried like a baby at the end when Schindler said he could have saved more people. What an excellent job from Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and especially Steven Spielberg!
