A solid action adventure with heart. Harrison Ford is a more grown up action hero in this than in Star Wars and Indiana Jones. His best performance is still Witness, but this is a good film too.
Is this Steven Spielberg's response to the Patriot Act? Possibly. Criminal activity that hasn't actually been perpetrated is still punished in this unusual future.
Much funnier than the Austin Powers films. It's an edgy satire, but I don't consider it racist. It uses stereotypes to make fun of modern attitudes (and how some of them aren't as inclusive as we think). But it isn't a lecture on race relations. It's actually really funny. "If you mess with the 'fro...you got to go."
It just doesn't feel as special as the original. This is more kid friendly than the classic Fantasia. The segments are shorter and faster paced. But it rushes along at too fast a pace. It feels like each segment is trying to be a cute cartoon. But the animation is very good and it's a better than average animated feature (which is what you expect from Disney).

The horror classic. Obviously filmed at the beginning of the talkie era, but the german expressionist influence and the story itself make it a horror breakthrough. The book is a bit overrated. There is a reason that the Frankenstein everyone actually knows is the Karloff interpretation. A short and sweet Frankenstein film that gets to the action quickly.
This is a good drama/sci-fi story. Katniss is a more likable protagonist than most young adult heroes and the story is top notch. Enough with the vampires and wizards. Let the games begin.
