Everyone commenting here is right, it's a terrible ending, but it's so laughably bad that you have to see it to believe it.

Anne Archer is so much better than Michael Douglas deserves.

It is an act of nothing less than sheer cowardice that this movie was not nominated for any Academy Awards. http://www.terribleblog.net/2020/02/oscar-voters-are-cowards.html

Cats is horrible, but the CGI isn't really the problem. I go into it in more detail here: https://www.terribleblog.net/2020/01/cats-its-like-singin-in-rain-but.html

I believe this came out in 2019, not 2017.

Weirdly enough, this one is better than the original.

That was fantastic.

This was actually pretty good. Like its main character, it's very different from the norm, but it has so many great little moments that it's worth the price of admission.

I have no idea why people liked Charlize Theron. She was constantly shifting between whispering and shouting.

The only people who would dislike this are just like Silencer.

The real problem with this movie is its reliance on reaction shots.

Definitely better than the Swedish version.

What an awful travesty of a movie. What was your favorite part, the insipid "you'll shoot your eye out" line repeated ad nauseum (ie., more than once), the overtly racist ending or the numerous kids shrieking, whimpering and bawling their eyes out?

I swear, there is no sound more despised on God's gray earth than children crying.

It's a shame that more people haven't seen this. Rock & Rule is a great movie.

May be the most British movie of all time.

It's hilarious that people are calling this "just another boxing flick." They must not have watched very many boxing movies. Stuff like Rocky and all the others are centered around the main character, that this is HIS fight and it's all about HIM. In this movie, there's so much emphasis put on the supporting cast and their contributions to the main character. This is a film about a community - not a community in the normal sense of the word, but a community in the sense of immediate connections that a person has; i.e., your trainer, your brother, your mother, your girlfriend, your father, your family, your children, and just what they mean to you.

This really is a wonderful movie, but I just felt like it was too predictable. Maybe it's because I'm very skeptical, but I just don't think I'm as gullible as the protagonists.

The performances in this movie were very strong, even if the writing wasn't.
