I was pleasantly surprised. After the last 2 Spider-man movies I was expecting the worse.. but got an extremely entertaining movie that I would watch again.

A truly interesting and thought provoking movie. I was drawn into the evolution of the Varvarkis character as he journeys through his life. What makes it more interesting is that the character was based on a real person. It was fun to see John Clease in a dramatic role.

Less than a week to go before the Brits invade again! If you live in the Toronto area come check out our new summer series. http://fb.me/1mLYVmuiG

Not a horrible movie.. .but slow to start.. and no story line. Felt like a show case of action/fight scenes.. with just a loose and minimal plot to tie them together.

Love this movie... It's tradition now to watch this EVERY year on... well of course.. Groundhog's day.

Besides the enjoyable and warm story line... (read romantic) the movie is worth watching just to see Carrol O'Connor in a movie once more. That and the GREAT music score from classic singers, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, et al.

I mentioned this in a comment for the movie "Volcano" but of the two similar themed films, I think "Dante's Peak" was superior. Better writing and general story line.

Not a bad movie.. but I liked its competitor movie better. Dante's Peak was better written and more fun.

I found my feelings a bit mixed on this movie. On one hand the main theme that beauty is internal and is not subject to the outward appearance is FANTASTIC. I loved the message. On the other hand there were a few gags about the characters weight that were on the verge of pushing the boundaries of good taste. In the end I decided that the good message was more prominent than the few distasteful scenes. I liked this movie. :-)

Definitely an interesting movie. Do I believe that Shakespeare was a fraud?? Not at all... but it definitely makes for an entertaining story.

People LOVE conspiracy theories... It brings an element of intrigue and excitement to life. Emmerich knows this and is capitalizing on it in his movies.

Just seen this at the Marie Dressler Vintage Film Festival in Port Hope Canada. I LOVED this movie.. Ginger Rogers is a sweet heart and the chemistry between her and Milland was great. Best movie of the festival IMO.

I am of mixed feelings on this movie. I DID like it and left the theater having enjoyed the movie. That being said.. the plot line was all over the place and the acting wasn't too good. The special effects where decent but nothing I hadn't seen before in other movies. This movie kind of reminded me of The Covenant with aliens instead of Witches.

Amazingly well done. I liked how Jolie and Depp played off each other. A smart and well done movie. One nitpick comment was that for Angelina supposedly being british.. she didn't sound like it. That being said.. I am not sure they were trying. (Better not to try unless you can pull it off.. a bad accent is worse than no accent)

A great addition to the Marvel movie series. I love how they are tying all of them together... it adds continuity. A decent amount of action... and more importantly.. an engaging story/plot line.

Saw this in 2D when I found out that it was converted to 3D to cash in on the 3D hype. 2D is WAY better in my opinion. You are seeing it as it was meant to be seen. I have heard that the 3D makes a mess of things in this case. Encourage those who didn't like it in 3D to watch it again in 2D.

Fantastic movie... best film I have seen so far this year. Unlike Alice In Wonderland... the 3D was on par with Avatar... (I liked Alice by the way) ;-)

I really did enjoy this movie although I found the 3D to be a bit of a disappointment. I don't feel it added much and I could have gotten away with watching it in 2D. Depp was fantastic as usual but I am finding I was drawn more to some of the other characters. The Cheshire Cat and Absolum being WAY more entertaining in my opinion.

Liked 90% of the movie and then was SORELY dissappointed by the ending. Got WAY to philosophical for my tastes.
