8 months without an update. Is this site still being actively managed? Did you fix the search function yet? Where is the new design we've been hearing bout for years?
It would be nice if after 5 years the search function worked properly. I still find myself (in order to check movies) going to IMDB, copying the URL, adding a movie with the URL, and having the site tell me "this movie has already been added click the link below"....
Trying to find Godzilla 2014, first two pages still show nothing. When is this ever going to be fixed????
Lists easier to find? How about making the movies easier to find!? Try typing in "the skin i live in". The 2011 Antonio Banderas film. Nothing shows up. "La piel que habito" however works fine.
Thanks BadSmile for point out the "progress" option. I feel a little better. But I still liked it at the bottom of every portion of the site. Made it feel very cozy.
Meh. So far the improvements to 2.0 have not made me more interested in spending time on ICM, quite the opposite. There is still no way for me to see the official lists like before (where they would be at the bottom of every page in a nice condensed form). I realize you increased the number of lists shown on a page, but that still hasn’t satisfied me. You need to browse through 2 or 3 pages to see all of the list categories.
Adding TV episodes is a joke. Adding books would be far worse. I came here for the official lists, and now this site is turning into a “who can check more stuff” game. The premium memberships hold very little value. If it were $5/year I would feel obliged to contribute but $36 a year? The free portion of the site should have the features the premium version has. By not being able to filter movies and making people pay for it, it’s just showing how much of a joke this site is becoming….
