This was just great! A beautiful movie. About family, and strong relationships, as well as an extremely wonderful description of the childrens fantasy, and maybe their own little super-powers. The music is great, and really fitting the colorfull and fantastic pictures. Possibly the best animated movie I've ever seen.
Fine movie. I was surprised how "complicated" the story was, generally a well written screenplay. I like all the different social situations. The funniest thing is that the character of Owen Wilson is quite similar to the regular, younger charatcer og Woody Allen in his earlier movies. I did sort of see Allen somewhere behind Wilson.
I like the fact that the movie doesn't give any certain "answers" to whats really going on with the main character. You may interpret it in some ways. Although it is quite open, I would say that he is just madly in love with the city, and the whole story, wether it is in 2010, 1920 or in 1890, it doesn't really matter.
Highlight: Funny, like in most Allen films. An it has some great dialouges, where you really can find some meaning.
Great movie. Very engaging drama throughout the whole movie. The fight for what's right and justice is important. Lots of interesting emotions and relations between family and friends in all the different settings of the film - prison, court and the city. The film made me care for the characters, and then made it highly enjoyable. Then I can say I like most of the aspects of this film, script and direction is very good, although the best part, is the acting. Day-Lewis and Postlethwaite is flawless!
Highlight: Daniel Day-Lewis' acting.
He made a memorable character. The fight for the Oscar was hard in 1994. Tom Hanks got it form his great part in Philadelphia, and other would maybe say that Liam Neesons strong performance in Schindler's List should get the prize, but I feel that Daniel Day-Lewis should have gotten it after seeing this movie.
This one almost made its way into my top 50 favorite films, so I will reward with the highest grade:

Good and really comforting story-line. Relating and engaging message. Great acting, that also gives you the chance to care for the charaters.Highlight: Natalie Portmans part.
