When you see a film that hits you on so many levels, there are hardly any other films in the universe you can relate to more than this. #ThatFeeling!!

The Perks is about being different. Being the one who not in a good way stands out in a crowd. Being the one who has not the same interests as everyone else. Being the one who behaves a little bit different than what is expected to be "normal". And not giving one single ounce of crap about it!
This is the film for all of us outsiders out there. We, who dared to speak our own mind, regardless of what other people said about it. Thank you, Stephen Chbosky, for writing this story. It made us realize we are not alone out there!

What I like about Frozen, is that it seems like Disney is finding their way back to "the good old recipe" for a classic! Princes, princesses, magic, the "hidden" message of the importance of love, a living snowman, fairy tale landscape, wonderful songs, and a hilarious animal character - Sven.
Not the best from Disney, but pretty darn far from being anything other than great, nevertheless!

Looking at the cast and crew of this movie, I knew there were a few certainties; there would be actors giving memorable performances, and filmmakers telling a story like it's the main reason for them being on this planet. And I was right.
First of all, my hat's off to Mr. Daniel Day Lewis who delivers nothing but a spectacular performance as President Abraham Lincoln. What he manages to do with the part is beyond believable as he brings life to the character in a way I didn't think was humanly possible! May Mr. Day Lewis forever be a legend! And he is supported by an amazing cast! Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field, David Strathairn, to name a few, are all excellent and contributes to a spectacular show of Hollywood's finest!
Steven Spielberg once again shows us what an amazing director he is, and how comfortable he is by telling these kinds of stories. He is truly a master of authenticity and realism, and with "Lincoln" he makes the passing of the 13th amendment an exciting history lesson, rather than a tedious one.
Watching Spielberg's movies always makes me feel like I'm watching the work of someone who's really devoted and cares a lot about the story he's telling. He's always paying a lot of attention to details, and obviously has a great connection with his actors. Watching a Spielberg-film is always a great experience. He is truly one of Hollywood's finest director's!

I've never had any problems with Ben Affleck as an actor, and found most of his films enjoyable. But as a director, I absolutely worship the guy! He really knows how to tell a story, and with Argo he makes us all sit at the edge of our seats, damn near pissing our pants because of the suspense!
Argo is a brilliant film. You disagree? Argo fuck yourself.

It's a... Cloud Atlas is a film that...

Oh my god...!

No, Cloud Atlas shouldn't be described. It should be EXPERIENCED!
Basically Cloud Atlas is three hours of wtf, but three BEAUTIFUL hours of wtf! Without a doubt one of the most original, creative, wonderful, exciting and wonderfully made films of the decade!

So this is supposed to be "scary", right?

Yeah, then so is Disney's "The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh".

My god...!

Aaaaaaand once again they go totally maniac Hollywood crazy at the end, completely destroying the great potential of this story. Here's a tip for ya; if you want to make kids scary, look at what Stanley Kubrick did in The Shining with the twins.
What saves this from being a total disappointment is Ethan Hawke. He really brought something real to the screen with his great performance.

I think this must be one of the dumbest films I have ever seen.

I loved it!

Oh gaaaawd, where to begin?!?
No... it's too awesome for words. You shouldn't READ ABOUT Django Unchained. You should watch it, and experience the pure brilliance of Quentin Tarantinos storytelling. Now, quit readin', 'n git your ass to the movies!

I am a singer. Singing is my passion. I had a feeling this film would fit me perfectly. And it kind of did.
Although the film in general was pretty girly, the a capella scenes were nothing but fully awesome!
So what if the humor was a little... "out there"?!

Gaaaawd! Can people pleeeease stop comparing this to The Lord of the Rings?? No, it doesn't have huge battles, beacause this is not about the war of the ring. The reason there are thirteen dwarves stealing the action, is because the book "The Hobbit" is about thirteen dwarves on a quest to reclaim their land from a dragon. It's not bad because of this. It's awesome!!

However, I do think Peter Jackson have stretched the story a little too much by making three movies out of this book, which gets quite clear in some moments throughout the film. There were times I felt Peter Jackson was taking too much time getting to the "point", and made me think "get on with it!".
Still awesome enough to not let me dwell on this too much, though.

Oh my god, if you insist on making a movie based on "actual" events, then you really shouldn't make actors spoiler...! FAIL!

I've read quite a lot of bad reviews for this one, but I have to say I disagree with most of them. This was fun! Good humor, solid special effects, and last, but not least, a lot of creative and fun creatures. However, I can relate to the fact that this movie copies a lot of the first two without bringing a lot of new elements to the screen, and that being a weakness. But it's not enough to ruin all the fun. I was thoroughly entertained by this. And Josh Brolin made my day! Now, are we sure he is NOT a Tommy Lee Jones clone?!?

Charlize Theron is hot, no matter how old she looks as a witch. Kristen Sheridan is not too bad in this. It pleased me to see her smile for a change. Didn't know she could do that.
Other than that, this i a typical, classic fairytale-fantasy-action. A lot of impressive effects and okay story. It didn't quite catch me the way I hoped it would. Don't know why, because I'm usually a sucker for these kind of films. Must be because I have the flu or something. Nevertheless, it could be worse. A lot worse.

It's always nice to see a Ridley Scott Sci-fi, especially when it's a prequel to one of the greatest sci-fi thrillers of all time. That being said, the smartest thing to do here is not to keep the original Alien in mind watching this. Rather look at it as a visually stunning masterpiece which is quite entertaining and exciting. Ridley Scott really knows his sci-fi shit, doesn't he?

I was a total wreck for the last 40 minutes of this. Holy crap, I cried! Though it must be said I have always been a sucker for this kind of dramas.
Although his character may be a little too much sometimes, Thomas Horn is extremely talented portraying this kid. It's definitely not the easiest character to perform, but he does it with extreme credibility! My hat's off to him!

Hayao Miyazaki never ceases to amaze me! His movies are so full of warmth, amazing imagination and adventure, that watching them is like being a PART of a fairytale, and not only watching it. He is truly one of the greatest storytellers of our time.

Just as I anticipated; a fast pased CGI orgie with no other intentions but to entertain rather than telling a story with depth and originality.

They just HAD to go too 'Hollywood' at the end, didn't they?
Apart from that; being a norwegian, this was a quite fun experience, watching some of our best actors in a Hollywood movie. And the best part; they were awesome! :D
I watched this on Bluray with english subtitles, and I have to say I had a few laughs over all the wrong translations. Some priceless moments there, I must say.
