This is what happens when a visionary director is given free reign to put his imagination on screen and it's glorious, dumb, stunning, overly long, mesmerising and spectacular.
Gentle, enjoyable film dealing with the loss of innocence as we grow older and end up spending our time doing things we'd rather not be doing, instead of just having fun.
The first half hour creates an intriguing, stylishly designed world but unfortunately the film descends into typical, messy convoluted thriller territory.
Intriguing setup in the first two episodes but the documentary doesn't satisfactorily answer a lot of niggling questions and comes to a conclusion which doesn't make complete sense given what we've been told.
