:dombrewer, it wasn't Polish concentration camp. I believe the correct way of calling them is "Nazi concentration camp in occupied Poland". I don't suppose you meant otherwise, but since even Obama had to apologise for using the former expression, I felt it was my duty to point it out.
Yeah, but judging the movies, comparing them and rating is just so... arbitrary. And I doubt there are any people here on this site who use these (personal) lists to decide which PolaĆski's movie to watch next.
Edit: good point with the 'list by release date' remark though.
Do you really check tv series when it's not over yet? There's always a possibility you die before the show's over, and who looks silly then, with a check not deserved in your book.
I would love to be able to add personal lists to my progress page; and to be able to sort them in the manner I want, eg. put Woody Allen and Coen brothers under 'Director' tab and so on.
Nevertheless, hats off, guys :)
I would really like to be laughing watching this movie. Unfortunately, nothing seemed worth laughing to me.
This was my first Fields movie - and seeing that it's "considered by film historians to be one of Fields' best and funniest films" - while to me it was as funny as movies about Holocaust - makes me shriek at the thought of watching other Fields' films.
Surprisingly enjoyable. And I doubt real Queen Christina wore lipstick back then, so if you just buy into the convention it shouldn't really worry you that much.
I know it's Hitchcock and all, but I found the film rather stupid. What kind of wife keeps a framed picture of her lover in plain sight? Boring, not convincing and really pale in comparison to other films of the era and other Hitchcock films for that matter (even Pleasure Gardens was much, much better).

Couldn't you make it chronological by default? What reason is there to put it by IMDb ranking, which changes from time to time?Blog comment on Limitless
