Nothing special. And I can never buy Vince Vaughan as a killer (i.e. 'Psycho')... The plot is predictable enough, and the 89-minute run-time leaves little room for anything genuinely authentic or interesting to grab your attention. John Travolta was likable though.
The only redeemable aspect of this movie was the long list of cameo appearances by respected comedic talent. Why they agreed to appear in this movie is beyond me. Half of the jokes aren't even grounded in reality. A ghost sucking out peoples' soles-- Will Ferrell raising (and later fighting) a shark-- a minotaur?! Please. Don't soil your appreciation for the first Anchorman by watching this movie. Seriously.
I watched this one on a whim, but had kind of high hopes for it... Set design and special effects (circa '97) were really impressive, but the rest was disappointing.
