It was kinda fun seeing some of the old Hanna-Barbera characters being brought back to life to be introduced to the new generation of kids watching this movie. Kinda sucks that the movie's so bland though...
All that flashbacks and backstories jammed into a two and a half hour movie made it hard for me to properly connect with the characters, kinda made the climax a little less exciting..
I feel like... this movie would have been so much better as a series instead.

As someone who had read the manga, and watched the anime and Japanese live-action movies, this was a very bad idea. But I went ahead and tried giving this a chance anyway and my conclusion is: It's very Americanized. Plus there's just not enough Willem Dafoe.
Simple plot with hilarious action. I personally loved it. It reminds me of the first film. The way it's written makes you forget that there was a 4th movie. There's an after credits scene that'll excite you (well it got me excited lol)
A '90s movie that is superb in it's time. It may seem confusing and even boring at the beginning but that's on purpose! This movie is amazing if you think of it that way, especially with the plot twist and the subtle hints that were dropped throughout the movie. It's like playing detective! :3

I liked how they tried to resemble the games though they tried too hard and it didn't flow / translate well in cinema.Also.. they should have some kind of trigger warning for flashing lights because that gave me a headache
