Hideously good. One may need to be a Rob Zombie fan to truly appreciate it but very good in my opinion (as I am a long time fan). Shari Moon is beautiful and she does a good job in this film.
I love Les Mis the stage performance... I hated this film. Too many big name actors.. Crowe was a terrible choice. Hathaway's emotional rendition of I dreamed a dream was the best part. The movies never live up to the live performances. The power doesnt transfer to the screen.
Okay people! It did look really fake and the music didn't match the time period BUT it's a Baz Luhrmann film!!! And this was done is classic Luhrmann style. Vivid colors and missed matched music for the time period are kinda his thing.
Toby Mcguire was bad though.
Would have been better with out the whole educated white girl saves the helpless black women thing. A tad condescending. I would have liked Aibileen to write the book.
