This is one of those movies that could have been great. I can't put my finger on what is off. Great actors with wonderful, or at least weird, performances. Others just come and go without leaving a mark.

This movie is exactly what is being advertised. Fun with great stunts.

Writer/director Rose Glass was on The Movies That Made Me and Joe Dane and Josh Olson were so complimentary about the film that I made sure to see it.

If you aren't squeamish and you like dark humor then this might be the movie for you. It was the movie for me.

Funny. True to the characters unlike most if the stuff made in the last 30+ years. Though I would have liked to see the movie Dante wanted to make.

I need to be clear that I am not being cynical. Feelgood movie.

Funny how a movie can cause suspense over something we all now turned out fine.

Funny scenes. Less funny scenes. Fun monsters. The sentimentality worked on me in Afterlife but less so here.

Just fine.

It was kind of fascinating watching this film. I don't know why I didn't like it. It is like everything is just a little bit off.

I haven't seen the original so I am not going in with any prejudice of that kind.

Dull. Self-indulgent.

I have enjoyed the Tina Turner song We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome) for almost forty years without seeing this film.

An utterly ridiculous movie. Which I enjoyed. I think it may be more influential than the previous two. There are echoes of the film in countless post-apocalyptic works that have come after it, often in a mocking but loving way.

The most interesting thing about the film might be Mel Gibson's baby-face. So young and not mad at all...

Much better than the original.

Most of the costumes could have come from a New Romantic music video from that era. I suspect it didn't just take from the fashion of the times but also influenced some which came after.

An extremely powerful documentary about "The Troubles" in Northern Ireland. It is at times quite disturbing.

Uninspired. Felt padded. By the numbers. Too many songs but that could have been alright if they were good.

I have avoided this film for years because of the "accident" but I decided to go ahead just skip the Landis-part.

I don't dislike "sentimentality" as some do but Spielberg's was just corny.

Dante's segment seems like it could have been good or even great but was mostly "meh".

George Miller's was the best one (which I believe is also to Dante's credit) but suffered because I've seen it parodied a few times (notably Simpsons) and so it had very little impact.

I didnĀ“t really enjoy the first third or half of the movie but it did get better as it got going. Not a good movie but it has a couple of jokes that I liked.
