I’m not an Adam Sandler fan at all (although there are a number of his films I do like) however this was a great film to watch with my 9 year old son.

Enjoyable for both of us with several solid messages that he picked up himself. No dadsplaining required and chuckles throughout.

An intense perspective of a major tragedy from the view of a victim, the victims. Masterful and delicate within the brutality.

The entire film in a single shot. Breathtaking and devastating.

Wow.

Great film.

The larger budgets seen in Guillermo del Toro's more recent films do not deliver the justice he deserves, given the stamp this movie has in his back catalogue.

Great pace, sound, story and delivery - unique without feeling locked into the era it was made.

Top film, so Hitchcock throughout and deserves recognition amongst his greats.

His way of bringing a lighter tone to a gritty story is unique - dinner times with the inspector (and his wife) demonstrates this here.

Great little thriller, creepy and believable in the context it's presented. In the realm of The Strangers and Funny Games but unique, as they both are.

Well? Damn.
That was something else.

A finely crafted film that contains more than first impressions let on.

Boring.

Not only that, it felt like a homage. I commented to my wife it felt like a homage. Then I learnt it was a homage.

Then I remembered it was boring. Again.

Lazy and depressing. Humorless dialog wrapped in an attempt at playful storytelling.

To mix adult burdens with children's sensibilities just fails.

Simple and engaging example of a/v stimulus - shines so much greater than other more highly regarded shorts. Awesome.

Apparently the first commercial film; admission was charged to see it (along with 9 other shorts).

10 minutes after the films close and just gathering my senses, blew my little brain apart.

One of the finest films. Ever.

I agree, Fantomas are fantastic - and this is a great album :)

Those three movies are there, in the order they appear on the album. Maybe you were viewing Checked only?

  • Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam
  • The Devil Rides Out
  • Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto

The only two tracks (intentionally) missing are the TV shows:
One Step Beyond (track 4)
Vendetta (track 12)
