Really disappointing from the director behind great movies such as Blue Ruin and Green Room. It's way too long and it lacks focus. Great performances, visuals and music can't really save it.
I just watched a ballerina movie for little girls and I really liked it. It's just a really sweet and feelgood movie with nice animation. The modern pop songs don't really fit with the late 19th century setting though, and I guess it's kinda predictable.
Btw, they re-dubbed some of the characters and changed the title to "Leap!" for the US release. They also use different posters that might make you think the movie is more adventurous than it is. Make no mistake, this is a movie about ballerinas and dancing.
Why is Seppuku/Harakiri on this list? It's got maybe five minutes of "action". Meanwhile, Seven Samurai just disappeared from the list even though it's got MUCH more action than Seppuku.
No comments on this one? I guess most people never made it this far since they got tired of watching the same movie over and over again. Well, this one is certainly different. Jason is in space. In the 25th century. Yeah, it's ridiculous, but it's entertaining and it's got some really cool kills. I'd say it's one of the best in the series and it's absolutely worth checking out.
Neil deGrasse Tyson voices a weasel version of himself in a movie with some of the most ridiculous science you'll ever see. Other than that, it's entertaining enough, but you can skip it if you didn't like the last few ones.

Why all the whining over this list?"Oh no, a list of mainstream movies, this offends me with my superior and obscure taste. Worst list ever!"
Also is this list having 600+ movies really a problem when there are several lists with over 1000 and one of them is even genre specific?

Why isn't this in any genre lists yet? It's got enough votes and a high enough rating. Same goes for Wolf Children.
