Definitely one of the best recent blockbusters. Beautifully shot and a well written plot. It's a typical movie that makes you think as a viewer. If you like 'Moon', you'll probably like this as well. Tom Cruise good as always, Andrea Riseborough was less convincing. They should have found a better actress for her fairly interesting character.
Lovely psychological movie with a very convincing Sigourney Weaver. She talks about the tortures in a way that you see them happen right in front of you.
Mermaids were the only thing good in this movie. PotC4 should have been darker, less predictable, but especially: it should have gone rid of Penélope Cruz...
Not as good as 'Efter Brylluppet', but still a strong drama with some interesting characters. The acting is good (Thomsen not as good as usual though) and the movie has a high sympathy level. But as the story evolves, things become very predictable and in the second half of the movie, suddenly everything goes very slow. The first part is intense and beautiful, but because of this second part it is just not Oscar-worthy. Sorry, Susanne.
