Movie comment on Brief Encounter

One of the few films I cant truly say I hated. One dimensional, selfish characters following an unbelievable story. The only things which stopped me giving this 1/10 were the music and cinematography.

Wait, what? Music? Really? The tapdance at the end and theme of rhythm I get, but that doesn't really qualify it as a music film.
