Genuine big love for Michael Snow here., but saying that, I'm a Hollis Frampton fan. I find them interesting... like if you remade this with a digital camera but everything else was the same, there would be quite a lot of differences depending on the camera, because of the way digital video works. Not my favourite Snow, mind.
Ha that comment about the world you want to be is quite funny to me, only because I grew up near where it was filmed. Shame a similar thing is happening there, except it Donald Trump and a golf course and he's not going to make it into a research centre :(
