no keigo, no geishas
That is, anime that should be of interest to anarchists because of progressive themes.
Socialism will do too if it's not too auth (look up chinese Donghua for that? also Girls Und Panzer, First Squad?).
One title per series.
(everything that gets mentioned online is good enough unless there are serious counterarguments)
"If you're just looking for anime that can have an anarchist/socialist interpretation, then there're plenty. But if you want something strictly socialist, something overtly promoting working class consciousness, unequivocally exploring themes directly related to socialist revolution, then there is none other than the Marx bio. Like, Code Geass can be read as anti-imperialist, but it never mentions anything like economic equality or abolition of class. It also never associates the rise of Brittania with capitalism. Nothing in the show suggests the anti-Brittania revolutionaries are gonna install socialism rather than keeping capitalism in place once they take power. A liberal or a nationalist can easily enjoy the show using their own perspective."
