LaCinetek is a French VOD platform that streams films selected by directors, who select about 50 of their favourite films from the history of cinema that should be part of every "ideal film collection". The films can date from the early days of cinema up to the year 2000, and directors can't pick their own films.

As of now, 97 directors have submitted a list. This list is a compilation of the most cited films. It's updated every month.
