"I'm making this as a comparison list to my Anime News Network Top 100 list. Letterboxd has more TV series listed as films, so I've tried to leave those out unless they could pass as a movie-length miniseries (~6 episodes).

A lot of overlap between the two lists, though Ghibli films rank a little higher here, and there is a little more appreciation for oddities like Angel's Egg and Belladonna of Sadness".
