I foråret 2020 kårede brugerne på det danske filmsite moovy.dk de 50 bedste film fra 1980 til og med 1989. Alle havde mulighed for at indsende deres lister med deres 25 favoritfilm rangeret efter bedste først. Ud fra disse lister blev Top 50 udregnet og offentliggjort.
Følgende regler var gældende:
Kun film der er listet som "feature film" på IMDB kunne accepteres.
Obs. Nogle film deler samme plads, grundet pointsammenfald. Dette er desværre ikke muligt at illustrere på ICM.
