one of my best movies !!!! cheers jared letogatekepa
This movie made me so sad, and so introspective. Questioning what my fix is. Thinking about how I never want to end up like that, so torn away from everything, from the people I love.I needed to watch The Office (US) to try and get me thinking about things less depressing.
Just an excellent movie. The camera work hooked me from the start, and everything else was rock solid, except maybe Jennifer Connolly's performance at times.

Incredible, painful, this is art.meztruo
i will never watch it again, it's too strong. but it's one of the best movies i've ever seen, really good made. to watch almost one time in the life. i love how the love relation is rendered, and how badly the watcher feels himself when everything goes crap. depressing, but i reccomend itpapp
That was depressive.coral_ck
Just finished watching this film and vomiting. The backdrop of the abandoned icon that is coney island gave a distinct sense of the deferred dream that this movie is clearly about. I liked the washed out color pallet as well. Overall everything on the screen (including the music coming from it), was extremely effective at stirring up extreme unease and discomfort in the viewer. The love scenes were warm and genuine though, which probably made the contrasting devastation even more horrifying. To me art is inciting emotional responses in the patron with some medium. This film is definitely a work of art, but something I will not see unless I really feel like vomiting again.halftome
