So many plot holes, it distracted me from the rest of an otherwise entertaining movie

No one in a 10 mile radius was clapping where I saw it.

Didn't meet my already lowered expectations. Bane felt more like a James Bond villain and not really a deep threat to Batman. Their rematch later in the film was lackluster. Nolan still can't direct action sequences.

Some of the abbreviations that I had problems in understanding:
DWP - Department of Water and Power
MTA - Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police
R and D - Research and Development
B-and-E - Breaking and Entering

Don't know why people like it so much. So many movies better than it. It's a pity.

I can't stand how they redubbed Bane's voice just because some idiots couldn't understand what he was saying because of their short attention spans. The original voice suited his character so much more. I honestly think the redub ruined the movie.

Not one I'd recommend. The Dark Knight should have stayed in bed... and I should have gone to bed instead of staying up and wasting 3 hours on this.

Garbage. To see it on so many lists is a shocking representation of how geek culture adolescents overrun internet sites and forums.

Decent, too many ridiculous scenes and an overly drawn out first half held it back from being anything great.

Although I quite liked the whole vibe of the movie, I just don't think that ANY modern movie who tries to pull a spoiler, not to mention a spoiler, as cliché-ish as TDKR does, should be in the upper half of the top 250.

Definitely didn't live up to the hype in my opinion, but still fine, even with the aforementioned issues.

Too many inconsistencies in this mess for it to be brilliant, or even great. It was good, no more than that. You people giving it 10 out of 10 must be seriously starved of brilliant movies.
I could accept a 7 out of 10, perhaps.

Many details are lost in the rush to tell the story and in doing so, you are left wondering about many things. Like Banes crap voice, and the audio mix of it (his voice was SO F*CKING LOUD in my theater, no doubt thanks to the problems in the early mixes where people couldn't understand him). spoiler

They could have cut down another 30 minutes since there is so much irrelevant crap in here that isn't coherent in any way and just distracts from the movie.

At least we only had to suffer Tom Hardys fugly mug unobstructed for a few seconds.

Would I recommend this movie to anyone? I would tell them to watch Batman Begins, and if they really like it, I mean really really like it... then watch the two others. Otherwise, mjeh.

Not bad. I always feel like Nolan favours the villains but is reeled in by the studios, resulting in somewhat improbable endings. He's really good at tapping into contemporary fears of terrorism and chaos, but once that genie is out of the bottle, relatively simple and coherent conclusions seem forced. Could have used more Catwoman, a character that was not fleshed out very well. I liked the focus on ordinary people. I do agree with other posters who noted that it felt rushed at times, as well as criticisms about a sometimes subpar and cliched script. Decent finish to the trilogy. It will be hard to follow Nolan's act (nigh impossible to follow Ledger's Joker), but I think at this point probably a fresh approach might be nice.
