I've always loved Xavier Dolan, but this one surpasses his other movies in every single way. It is true, and devastating, and liberating, and moving, and funny, and intense. I had no words when it ended and three days later, I'm still thinking about it. There's a confidence about this movie, Dolan seems more comfortable than ever behind the camera and we can feel it. The actors give breathtaking performances, especially Anne Dorval. Brilliant use of the 1:1 format. Wow, wow, wow.

Didn't have any expectations coming in, and I was very pleased. The visual effects are still absolutely stunning, awesome performances (especially by Eva Green - but that's no surprise) and good storylines (especially the one with Joseph Gordon-Levitt - super fun). Good sequel!

This is a fun movie, with amazing visuals and good performances. The style is mind-blowing, it made me want to see more and more. Very fun to watch.

The actors are good, Chris Pratt and Jason Segel are hilarious, but that's about it. I got very bored at some point, except for a few laughs.
Overall okay movie, the performances are not amazing but I did like the general directing and settings. Having not seen the original, the twist at the end did surprise me (a lot). A bit confusing though, some plotlines just don't go anywhere and are not very well explained. Entertaining but a little bit forgivable.

If you have read the book you will absolutely adore it. It well captures the essence, and balances well between the love story, the drama and the humor. The actors are good, much better than what I expected ; especially for Gus. Particularly loved the portrayal of Isaac. Great job! And bring your tissues!
