I went in expecting a rip-off of Battle Royale and so was suprised at how different this film was. In fact, the Hunger Games reminded me a lot more of 'They shoot horses, don't they', what with its emphasis on sponsors and discussions of hope amongst the disenfranchised classes.cbreiner

A fantastic movie version of a great book. Any eliminated or added elements worked only the heighten the cinematic appeal of the film. Also, great cast -- I can't imagine a better actress playing Katniss.KANJ
