Excellent movie even if you haven't read the books. They treated the material and the message with respect, rather than making a spectacle out of the gore/violence or playing up the romance in an attempt to pander to a teen audience. It was just executed amazingly well and it exceeded all my expectations. Plus, the film is gorgeous on a purely aesthetic level, and the soundtrack is great.kellyoung

Artistically and emotionally, this one is as generically crafted as any of the other young adult sci-fi blockbusters as of late (In Time, Chronicle, etc.). However, the subject matter is much more compelling than other submissions of the same genre. How could anyone not be entertained by such a premise?Overall, I enjoyed the film but I'm not raving about it on any level. It would probably make a much more interesting book, if anyone should care to write one.

I really liked this movie, I can't call it my very favorite, but it was still good. I cried like 3 times during the movie and though I haven't read the books I think the plot is very original and interesting. A big like and recommend :Ddannyferreira
