Great new features, fewer bugs than I thought there would be and I don't mind too much that you made pro accounts, but -please- make the lists as easy to browse as before!
I know you can see them like they used to be under "Progress", but why not make them equally nice to look at under "All lists"?
I forgot to add: there seem to be a lot more problems with safari than with firefox, I've actually had to switch to firefox to use the site without any major problems
Impossible to check movies at the moment.. But, what's even worse, we're not able to search by year anymore as a free user? Say if I just saw the movie Red, i would search for Red (2010) or Red (2011), whichever year it was. But now, it'll be completely impossible for me to even find the movie to check it off?
Really liked this website, but these additions make me want to stop using it altogether. Big step backwards, IMO. The design is much better, but the functionality is awful.
One of the things I would love the most, is that you have a separate tab for the reviews your friends/neighbors wrote. Random people often have different tastes, so their comments have no value to me. This would be the best update for me personally.
Good luck with the 2.0, you have my subscription either way.
You are probably already working on it, but I'm having problems checking movies as well. Cache reset didn't help. The XHR POST just hangs for about 50 seconds until an HTTP 503 Service Unavailable is returned. Let me know if you want me to test anything for you. (Chrome 16 running on Linux)
Great job guys! A big thank you to the whole ICM team! I've been a beta tester and this is a big improvement over ICM 1.0, it deserves the long wait.
Some suggestions:
-Make the icons of the lists larger
-Comments should be on the same tab as the movie
-Favorited lists should also show up on the dashboard
-To view my own comments should be free
-The cursor goes automatically to the filter field when opening a list, not handy when you want to scroll down the list.
-The export to CSV feature is almost invisible
And thank you again for your efforts to keep up with our crazy requests!
A lot of nice new features and that's great, but I hope you do some work on the design as it is very stuffed and hard to navigate.
For the future I hope you work on the comment feature as I would like to see a couple things:
1. Please let the comments be under the movie info, and not on a seperate tab.
2. Add forum features like reply, alerts when replied, maybe a +/like function etc.
1) I don't really need quick links to Unchecked and Disliked. How often do you want to look up a movie you don't like or look for random unchecked movies?
I've seen dozens of uglier bugs fixed over the last days so I won't panic because a few functions won't work properly during the first moments. The transition may be not perfect but it is not bad either since most things are already there. As a whole I welcome it and I think that Erik, Piet and Marijn deserve an appreciation: there are useful and interesting improvements and I'm sure that the layout for top lists will be polish sooner than later.

Just wait until the bugs have been fixed. iCM 2.0 really is much better than 1.0Gorro
@scharlatan: It still is possible. Hover over you name top right and select the option "Progress".I'm used to the layout by now (been a beta tester). I feel the added functionality make up for the little bit more chaotic layout.

Is it just me or is there no way to see all the official lists as brilliantly categorized (websites, critics, etc.) as in the previous version?!chrj

I think it's pretty stupid that you have to pay to access your own comments tab.JohnnyDavidson
On the progress tab, you cannot click any subtabs.sureup

Nice to see that some of the bugs have already disappeared.I still have to get used to the new lay-out. I think it's more fair to give an opinion in a few days...
Can't the free accounts go back from 10 to 20 recommendations? I think it's the only (part of a) feature that free users lost, compared to 1.0.
I like the addition of the personal lists!
